"During a midnight meteor shower, something mysterious falls from the sky toward Earth — but it’s not a shooting star. Two curious kids venture into the forest to investigate and find themselves mixed up with a family of visitors from another planet! Pursued by a crazy space scientist, they must risk everything to rescue the aliens and get them back to their spaceship — before it’s too late!"
Discover the unbelievable world of physics and chemistry through exciting experiments, like:
Turning a liquid into solid “worms” through a chemical reaction.
Launching a potato into the air using Boyle’s law.
Making a flying rocket using two common household chemicals.
Transferring energy between matter to create a “rainstorm.”
And much more!

For many years Tom Kinsey served as the Staff Naturalist at the Witte Museum in San Antonio. Now he is out in the community, traveling throughout our area with an amazing menagerie of native Texas animals, visiting schools and libraries to teach about the natural world. He is a Summer Reading Program favorite!
Each presentation is prepared for a specific audience: the 11am show is geared toward children 0 to 6, the show at noon is geared toward ages 7 to 11, and the show at 1pm is geared toward ages 12+.
Because space is limited, we ask that you choose which age group is most appropriate for your family and please attend only one presentation.
